“Community Cafe” is a FREE community event that will be happening in three locations throughout the state! This event will include lessons and demonstrations on home gardening, nutrition and cooking locally grown foods. Each participant will be able to create and take home their own seed starters as well as informational packets that include nutrition and cooking tips! Light hors d’oeuvres will be offered. This is event is open to anyone age 14 and up.

In partnership with SNAP, UAF Cooperative Extension, Food Bank of Alaska, Foundroot, WIC Anchorage, Every Bite Counts, UAA Health Promotions Team and Alaska Farmers Market Association.
