This position is responsible for coordinating the operation of the Muldoon Farmers Market and the Grow North Farm Market as part of the Refugee Enterprise & Agriculture Program (REAP) at Catholic Social Services’ (CSS). During the non-market season, October-April, this position will teach life skill classes, focusing on economic empowerment and community integration for refugee arrivals. Our program has been focused on food production and skill-building through the Fresh International Gardens (FIG) program. This position will expand upon our programming to promote food access and economic opportunity for individuals beyond our refugee community through the Muldoon and Grow North Farm market. Grow North Farm is an urban farm and marketplace designed for refugee and immigrant agricultural entrepreneurs. This position will oversee the operations of our markets at Grow North Farm on Thursdays from roughly end of June to beginning of October and on Saturdays at Muldoon market during the same date range.
