Celebrating early, the traditional Hmong New Year the Alaskan way!
The Pena Park Market Vendors have joined with several Community volunteers to ensure the preservation of the Hmong culture and tradition of a warmer New Year Celebration.
Moreover, that the youth in the Hmong community will be able to continue the custom of traditional ball tossing, “Pov pob,” and where our adolescence can come together and showcase their many talents and traditional clothing.
That being said, the Pena Park Market will be closed on the weekend of August 20th – 21st to be downtown where the festivities will be
