Join the Pilgrim Hot Springs team at Kawerak as the new Unaatuq Agriculture Manager. This full time position is based in Nome with great benefits, and exciting projects. The Unaatuq Agriculture Manager will be responsible for managing the Pilgrim Hot Springs agriculture activities during the summer months as defined and agreed upon by the Agriculture Manager and the Program Director. A hybrid remote-work agreement may be made during the off-season winter months. The Agriculture Manager’s responsibilities are to protect and maintain the Pilgrim Hot Springs agricultural fields, gardens, and food production activities to the best of their ability, provide a measure of food security for the Bering Strait region, and to do so within the guidelines set forth by Unaatuq and Kawerak. The Agriculture Manager, in executing their duties, will do so in a manner that will protect the Unaatuq land for future generations.
