The Basics of Building Nutrient Dense Soil

Midge Short will present about creating nutrient dense soils that allow your garden to thrive. This presentation is aimed at the novice, there well be valuable information for beginner and experienced growers alike.

Midge had been homesteading in Anton Larson for years. She grows an incredible array of veggies, saves seeds to create regionally adapted varieties, and builds rich, productive soil. We are so excited to learn from her!

Join us for a spring series of community panels + discussions centered around food security for our island! These are FREE + PUBLIC discussions for anyone who is curious about producing local food and gaining information from their community.
